Deployment Management Interface
Screen Shots and Certifications
Your employees are the creative workforce behind your business applications. As such, they need to be focused on what they do best. Deployment Management Interface helps ensure that your applications are deployed successfully with minimal error and cost. In addition, DMI provides a tool-set that allows you to extract, manipulate, and replicate your environments not otherwise possible.
Home Page Screen-shot
Users log into the DMI client by selecting the repository and entering their account name, password and project. Each project within a repository has its own accounts, target destinations, schedule queue, agents, and deployment information. This design helps organize and secure your assets.

Deployment Build
Build your deployment manifest easily by selecting the desired files from your VM archives. The deployment manifest can contain PVCS, CVS, RCS, and SUBVERSION files within the same deployment.

New Schedule Screen-Shot
Schedule your deployments using DMI's easy-to-use interface. Deployments can be scheduled for immediate execution, or sometime in the future. Select from your available pre-deployment and post-deployment programs, force submission of change number (if required), and notification of deployment status via e-mail can all be completed in seconds.

Schedule Queue Screen-Shot
The DMI schedule queue maintains complete historical information regarding deployment activity, as well as current and future deployments. This information can be saved to a file for auditing purposes, manipulated to compare and contrast target destinations, extracted to rebuild/replicate environments, or utilized to view your targets "appearance" for any point in history.

Reporting Screen-Shot
The DMI application offers a wide variety of reporting capabilities that allow you to review destination contents, compare destinations, audit deployments, locate files, report privileges and more.

Agent/Server Requirements
-
The DMI agent runs on UNIX and Windows platforms. The DMI agent is Certified with Solaris, HP, Linux, and Windows XP.
-
-
Access to the DMI repository database using thin and/or thick client.
-
Java SE Version 1.5 or higher (Java 5). All DMI products come with or without the JRE bundled.
-
Oracle Database (Standard or Enterprise Edition). DMI is certified on Oracle 9i and 10g. The repository size depends on the number of projects and the amount of history maintained. 250MB of space is recommended for the DMI repository (for non-bundled deployments). However, space utilization should be monitored.
-
Sufficient temporary space for deployment and agent logs. The amount of space depends on the number of agents, the number of deployments, and whether Verbose Output is enabled/disabled. Directory cleanup utilities/scripts can help reduce the amount of space required. 50MB - 100MB is recommended to start.
-
At least 50MB of memory per agent running on each server.
